Dr. Anand Ashok Kumar is an experienced Indian orthopaedic surgeon specialising in Shoulder, Elbow, and Sports Surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies in Davangere and earned his Master's in Orthopaedics from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, a top medical institution in India. After residency, he contributed to establishing the Orthopaedic unit at CMC's Chittoor branch before returning to CMC Vellore as a Junior Consultant, where he developed a focus on shoulder and sports surgery.
Dr. Kumar further honed his skills with a fellowship at the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute and is currently completing a fellowship at the Australian Shoulder Research Institute in Brisbane, Queensland. His goal is to return to CMC Vellore to advance the hospital’s shoulder and sports surgery program.
Anand is also an avid marathon runner and cricket enthusiast. He prioritizes a balanced life, cherishing time with his wife and daughter while pursuing a successful medical career.
